Accounts software for General Practitioners SOLA STATUS 7th Nov 2008 9.24 am SOLA is available now. We are still monitoring SOLA for stability, but we believe it is usable now. Why have we had problems recently? On Thursday, 6th Nov we suffered a random fault in one system. This fault manifested itself as SOLA going unavailable without warning every hour or so. To fix SOLA would require us to take SOLA offline for about 4 hours - which we were not keen to do during the day. So we lived with the failure for one day. We decided it was better to limp along than to have no SOLA. Overnight we were able to fix SOLA, except for an issue which came to light this morning, which was easy to fix. Since then SOLA has been functioning normally. We would like to appologise for the inconvenience this no doubt caused.

| I can flag transactions up for attention later... The system lets me mark transactions up with notes, and questions for my accountant. They access these online - at their convenience - and answer my questions! |
| It is so easy to see if something has been paid... The transaction search feature lets me find anything rapidly, whichever account it is in. |
| New features are provided when I ask for them... The people who have developed this are very keen to accomodate requests for new features - they are keen to improve the product! |
